Blankenbaker.The German Lutheran Church outside Madison, Virginia, (now known as Hebron) maintained communion lists from 1775 to 1822. It has been observed that the lists of names are in the order of seating and that relatives often sat together. As a consequence, the lists have proven to be valuable for genealogical research besides being interesting. (By this technique, the wife of Peter Fleishman, previously unknown, has been found.)The second edition of this book revises and corrects a few errors and misinterpretations from the first edition.
