A Symposium celebrating German-American partnerships in green building at the German Embassy in Washington DC, marking the 40th anniversary of Earth Day as part of the Transatlantic Climate Bridge Initiative.

Meet world-renowned authorities on green building Herbert Dreiseitl, Stefan Behnisch, Michael Braungart and William McDonough, as well as local experts, who will speak about:
- Green Building in the USA as a global market force
- German perspectives on sustainability and green building
- Business opportunities for German-American companies, today and in the future
- Case studies of some of America‘s greenest constructions - “Made in Germany”
- Green building codes and potential challenges
- Comparison of green building certification systems

The symposium's goal is to promote the transatlantic exchange of energy efficient and environmental construction concepts trends in the USA and Germany ‐ Green Building ‐ and exchange on the latest green building trends in the USA and Germany.
