5:00 P.M. TO 10:00 P.M. ANNUAL FUNDRAISING RECEPTION, BANQUET & AUCTION THE INN AT KELLY’S FORD - $55.00

INN AT KELLY'S FORD, 16589 EDWARD’S SHOP ROAD, REMINGTON, VA

The scenic battlefields at the Inn at Kelly’s Ford in Remington will be the site for the Annual Banquet & Auction fundraiser. The Civil War theme will inspire us to remember Governor Alexander Spotswood's descendant General Robert E. Lee, and the many Germanna descendants who served both the USA and CSA, including those who enlisted as troopers in the Black Horse Cavalry. It promises to be a very special evening, returning guests to the time of the 1860s in Old Virginia.

Doors open at 5:00 for a reception. Once inside, the decor and atmosphere will inspire memories of days gone by brought to life by the renowned 4th Virginia Cavalry, “The Black Horse Troop,” along with Colonel and Mrs. John S. Mosby, Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan Ballou with their antique gun collection, and spy Belle Boyd.

Entertainment will be period music presented by the singing group Evergreen Shade, with the period-dressed strolling fiddlers South Fork. Captain Kyle Printz will provide an Artillery Drill and Firing Demonstration with Kelly’s Ford's 12-pound Napoleon cannon.

A "Virginia Remembrance" inspired dinner will be served buffet-style at 6:30 p.m. with a skit presentation by the Camp Salubria children during dessert and the start of the live auction.

Throughout the evening, enjoy browsing and bidding at the auction tables for a variety of unique items available to win during the silent and live auctions.
