SUMMER INTERN OPPORTUNITIES:

The Memorial Foundation of the Germanna Colonies in Virginia is seeking college-age students for internships.   Interns will have a variety of experiences related to the heritage of the 1714 and 1717 Germanna immigrants, including genealogical research, historic preservation, the Germanna Colonies Museum, the Salubria mansion (ca 1742), and the annual  historical conference and reunion .

Depending on the student's field of study and interests, it may be possible to meet certain academic requirements, contingent upon approval by the college or university where the student is studying.  Internships are an opportunity for growth in one's knowledge and personal satisfaction.  Interns are accepted as volunteers and are not employees of the Foundation.
