The 90th Anniversary recording of the "German Oaks" Men's Singing Club of Oberholzklau, Germany. This beautiful recording of German Sacred and Siegerland folksongs is a MUST HAVE for music lovers.

Included in this special compact disk are two selections from Beethoven's 9th Symphony, Die Himmel rühmen (Praise the skies), and Ode an die Freude (Ode to Joy) accompanied by the Hünsborn "Hoffnung" (Hope) Musikverein orchestra.

This marvelous men's a'capella chorus, now in it's 97th year includes members of the Hitt, Holtzclaw, and other Germanna families. The CD was recorded in the Oberholzklau Church in 1996.

You DON'T have to understand German to enjoy this beautiful music.
