The Reverend Joie Weiher will officiate at the Service of the Holy Eucharist as it would have been done at St. James during its short life from 1840 to 1863. Period music will be provided by Anne Howard & John Tole of Evergreen Shade. The service is being held to commemorate the memory of those men who gave their lives at the Battle of Brandy Station on June 9, 1863 and other battles, many of whom were buried where they fell at or near the St. James Church site. The historic site is 2 acres of woods with a good clear path but appropriate footwear is recommended. | ||
