In a rare public appearance, literary legend, essayist, poet and Kentucky farmer Wendell Berry discusses his life's work and vision of people honoring and reconnecting with the soil.

He writes powerfully about the importance of place, and how the land interacts with the people on it. Berry is a good author to study on how to communicate the importance of the Germanna Foundation's stewardship of Siegen Forest, Salubria, and the Peter Hitt cemetery.
